Pilot operated valves 5200 series are designed based on API 520 and ASME Section VIII standards. The size and pressure range for 5200 series pilot valves according to API 526 standard is from size 1 2D to 8 10T and from class 150# to class 2500#. Also, design and manufacture for higher pressures for large orifices Q, R and T can also be done according to the customer’s request.

In Virco, beyond API 526, there are also design and manufacture for orifices larger than T in two types of POP ACTION and MODULATING ACTION pilots.

Features and applications of Pilot operated valves 5200 series

• It is used to minimize fluid loss
• For use in services that are not discharged to the atmosphere
